About

Ann is an expert in coaching and emotional intelligence and was a founding member of the Goleman Emotional Intelligence Coaching and Training Programs. Working side-by-side with Daniel Goleman and the Goleman team, she co-designed education and coach training, operationalizing Daniel Goleman’s ground-breaking theory of Emotional Intelligence.

Throughout nearly 25 years of coaching and consulting work, Ann has coached local and multinational corporate clients across various industries in the public and private sectors.

Ann partners with leaders to deftly support their growth during difficult periods of change and transition. Her skills have been honed over years of coaching and consulting within complex, emotionally charged situations. She brings stability and strength of character, which accelerate trust and psychological safety and deliver tangible benefits to clients.

Beyond her broad expertise in developing leaders, Ann has a particular focus on practices that build emotional intelligence and support self-activation for growth for transformational change.

Ann writes and facilitates extensively in her areas of expertise. She is a contributing chapter author in the award-winning book Advancing Relationship-Based Cultures and Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence Primer series.  She has been a guest lecturer in academic and professional settings.

Ann resides in the Midwestern United States. She has travelled extensively, including one memorable trip in which she and her husband drove over 3,200 miles from Illinois to Costa Rica.

Ann finds running and contemplative practices vital to her well-being and enjoys spending time with family, friends, her husband, Joe, and beloved dogs, Finnegan and Emy.
